Allow me to ‘Re-Introduce Myself’ Blogfest

PAMTRM_Badge

A big thanks to Mark Koopman, Elise Fallson, Stephen Tremp and C.M. Brown for creating this blogfest to allow me to Re-Introduce Myself. I thought I would take this opportunity to announce my updated about page. For those who like to read, it will tell you all you need to know about me.

Six other interesting facts about me:

  1. I am a law school graduate, but not a lawyer.
  2. I have several tattoos.
  3. I lived in China for over 5 years.
  4. I have three of the coolest nephews.
  5. I write romantic comedies.
  6. My 1 year blog anniversary is in February.

For those visual people out there, I figured the best way to re-introduce myself is to post a photo.  Hello, I am Sydney Aaliyah Michelle.

Check out the hint of cleavage.

I have’t shared a photo of myself on my blog before. I’m happy in this photo and it’s really all you need to know to understand me.

Make sure to jump around and see how others are re-introduce themselves.

Anything else you want to know about me, the Q & A session starts after the video!

  1. I bet living in China must have been an amazing experience. The stories you must have… I’ve always wanted to travel to the far east, *sigh* maybe one day. (: Great to meet you!

  2. Always brings greater perspective to actually see what someone looks like so thanks for the photo. I must say that I don’t understand the tattoo thing, but I guess it’s more of a newer generation thing. I never got any myself, but my daughters all have gotten them and most of their friends as well. I guess it’s like my parents didn’t get a lot of things me and my friends were into.

      1. I can certainly imagine, but I doubt whether I’d ever do it. I’ll save the imaginary experience as something to write about I guess.

    1. Hi Megan, I have tattoos on 6 body parts. But, some of them have several little tattoos. I always have a new idea in my head. But, I need to slow down. In February, I am starting Tattoo Tuesday again on my blog. It features writers who have tattoos. Would you like to be featured?

  3. What a pretty photo of you! Although I don’t have tattoos, I’m often intrigued by people who get them. I’ve started conversations with strangers simply by asking them about the story behind their tattoo.

  4. What a happy picture! I have 3 tattoos and would love to have more or add to at least one that I have, btu I don’t know if I ever will, there’s probably an age where I’m supposed to stop that behavior and it’s coming up quickly! 🙂

  5. Hi Sydney, living in China would be so cool. My kids would love to do that. And thanks for participating in the Re-Introduce Myself Blogfest!

  6. Hi Sydney. Great to see you! How did I miss this blogfest? Oh well I’m glad you found it. I’ve just had my blogiversary so good luck with yours. You’ve had a great year of writing and supporting others. Thanks for re-introducing yourself!

  7. China is high on my list. My wife is probably going there for an astronomy conference. The Chinese are pouring money into science these days. They even plan to start a moon base in a few years!

    1. Most of the time I spent there was in Shenzhen, but the last six months, I lived in Shanghai. I really enjoyed Shanghai. I would live there again. Great mix of Chinese and western culture. What does your brother in law do in China?
