I can’t believe it did that. For some of you, you already read my X post. I skipped right over W and I am so sorry. W is a great letter. It didn’t deserve that. I should never work past 1:00 am.

I did wonder where W went, but no worries!
Sia posted a wonderful review of my third book last fall, but it was the things she told me in our email exchanges that really made me feel good.
It never gets old, does it. That’s why I make a point to tell others when I love their work.
My novel ‘Ten Days in Panama’ is set, strangely enough – in Panama. It is a romance-based thriller. I live in the UK, but because of my military service I’ve been all over Europe. I’ve been to New York, but never to Panama.
My research for most of that part of my story was aided by a friend (and novice writer). She is a scientist, but apart from emails, we’ve never met or spoken to each other.
So what was the compliment? I’ve so far been asked twice if the story is based on real events, involving me and her. Oh, I wish …

I can’t honestly say that I remember any specific compliments, but I’ve had a couple of people (my father and my husband, in particular) suggest that they would be able to create something awesome if only I would do the writing for them, and I personally think that’s a great compliment. ^_~
LOL my favorite ‘compliments’ aren’t technically compliments, but I’ve actually had people defend my own characters to me LOL. I think that was the coolest experience. I was playing devil’s advocate and they defended them! I couldn’t believe it LOL
You got some great comments there. I’ve not had much said about my writing since it’s not out there yet.. My sketches are getting good feedback which always surprises me and keeps me going.
You have received some wonderful comments Sydney. When my CP said that he raced through my book I was elated. “Its your best book by far” were his words.
