Sydney Quotes the Movies bringing you the animated video game epic, Wreck-It Ralph by Disney.
Honestly, I felt like my worst fear had come true. Went the light go out at the arcade, I knew the characters hung out in a parallel world behind the machines. Super Mario Brother cheated on the princess with Ms. Pacman, Q’Bert suffered from anxiety attacks about hopping off the side of his world and Centipede must have a standing appointment with a chiropractor to help with his flexibility issues.
It was a cute kids movie and if you got all the movie and real life references it was an entertaining adult movie, as well.
Such as the Wizard of Oz like soldiers chant reference “Oreo, Oreo” and “Diet Cola Hot Springs, Look out for falling Mentos”.
And you know I love made up movie words such as poor Vanellope suffering from “Pixlexia” and the cruel insult of being refereed to as a “glitch” and “Verp – like vomit and burp” and “retro, which means old but good”.
But, Vanellope has confidence, “I know I’m a racer. I can feel it in my code.”
I also liked the anti Hero, hero and his enthusiasm – Fix It Felix:
“Oh, that’s not blood force trauma, ma’am. That’s just the honey glow in my cheeks.” “I almost drowned in chocolate milk mix!” “Look at that high definition! Your face… it’s amazing.”And, of course, we can’t forget our Bad Guy – Ralph:
“It’s hard to love your job, when no one else seems to like you for doing it.” “I wonder how many licks it would take to get to your center?” “I’m bad, and that’s good. I will never be good, and that’s not bad. There’s no one I’d rather be then me.” “I was GOING to get my medal and go until your little children of the candy corn made off with it!” “I’m already happy, I got the coolest job in the world! It may not be as fancy as being president, but I have a duty, a big duty!”Some of my other favorite quotes:
“Dooms Day and Armageddon just had a baby and it is ugly.” “I bet you really gonna watch where you step in a game called Hero’s duty[Vanellope Laughs] What’s you win a medal for wiping? I hope you washed your hands after you handled that medal.” “Flattery don’t charge these batteries, civilian.”Did you see Wreck it, Ralph? What did you think?

“Oreo, Oreo” Loved that scene 😀
I thought it was a fun movie. Took me back to my arcade days.
I haven’t seen the movie yet – sounds like it could be cute.
Those quotes are too funny. Haven’t seen the movie…might make a point to now…
I almost had soda go my nose at the Oreo scene.
I loved Wreck It Ralph…so did my guy. He’s the one who made me watch it, and I’m glad he did.
Aloha,
