About the Author:

LeesaLeesa Bow grew up in Broken Hill and moved to Adelaide, South Australia with her husband.

Leesa writes about new adult romance and loves to read. In her spare time, Leesa enjoys watching basketball and football, having beach days with the family, catching up for coffee with girlfriends, and taking long walks along the beach.

Leesa only began writing when her second daughter became sick with cancer. Initially writing was therapeutic, but when her daughter got the all clear, she decided to continue writing seriously.

Leesa is a member of the Romance Writer’s of Australia (RWA) and the South Australian Romance Authors (SARA).

Hope for Her – Top 10 Favorite Lines – #10

My second novel comes out on October 1st and I am super excited because it’s a unique story and it takes place at my alma mater, FSU (Go Noles!) and it has some intense moments and it’s the first book in a SERIES.

I wasn’t sure I could write a series because let’s face it, I have the attention span of a two year old, but I did it. And, I love it. I hope you do, too.

Through out the month of September I’d like to introduce you to the characters and my Top 10 favorite lines in Hope for Her.

FAVORITE LINES

Line #10 – Chapter One: 

“Yeah, FU’s PKP’s snort pixie dust and sit in a smokehouse in the backyard singing old Negro spirituals.” I collapsed into the nearest leather chair. “Hey, but, we’re all brothers. No matter where I pledged, right?”

I stared at him, waiting for his answer.

“We are brothers.” Jackson stood up. I followed and relaxed knowing he meant more than our fraternity connection. I missed my oldest friend.

While this is a love story, I had the opportunity to explore this relationship between my male MC (Josh)  and his best friend (Jackson). This is also the first book I’ve written in duel POV from the female and male MC. Challenging, but it had to be done and I had to maintain it through out the series. My beta readers said I did a good job with making the voices so distinct, they never got confused (Wipes the sweat from my brow).

September Goals!

Finish Hope for Us (Hope Series Book #3) – I having been having trouble finding time to write Book #3. I have a cover for it, so I need to get writing. I’ll be participating in a Fast Draft with some Facebook friends. Looking forward to spending two weeks in that creative realm.

My debut novel has been out for two months now and it has been an emotional roller coaster. I’ve been riding the wave and holding on tight, trying not to get too up or too down. Good, reviews, not so good, reviews and great reviews, it all comes with the territory.

Through all the emotions, I discovered my absolute favorite thing is getting messages from readers who tell me how my books effected them. It’s amazing to hear how my work touched their heart.
